Centrum Walidacji i Kombinacji IGS
W 2007 roku wraz z powierzeniem funkcji Przewodniczącego IGS Ionosphere Committee oraz Koordynatora wszystkich produktów jonosferycznych służby IGS prof. Andrzejowi Krankowskiemu przy Obserwatorium Satelitarnym w Lamkówku zostało utworzone – IGS/UWM Ionosphere Validation and Combination Centre.
Jest to pierwsze i do tej pory jedyne tej rangi Centrum w Polsce. Jest wytwórcą wszystkich finalnych produktów jonosferycznych służby IGS. Centrum to koordynuje pracą aż 8 dużych Centrów Analiz IGS:

In 2007, together with entrusting the function of the Chairman of the IGS Ionosphere Committee and the Coordinator of all ionospheric products of the IGS to prof. Andrzej Krankowski at the Satellite Observatory in Lamkówko, the IGS/UWM Ionosphere Validation and Combination Centre was created.
It is the first and so far the only Center of this rank in Poland. It is the manufacturer of all final ionospheric products of the IGS. The Centre coordinates the work of up to 8 large IGS Analysis Centres:
